Leaf Gold Crystal

This exceptional gold crystal, found in the dry Sonora Desert, is an extremely rare specimen from a unique location, often difficult for collectors to access. It was unearthed near a local quartz vein abundant in pockets of crystallized gold. The crystal's surface resembles spinel twin leaf habits and boasts a brilliant shine, showcasing well-defined spinel crystal patterns and distinctive octahedral formations of solid native gold branches. On the opposite side, it displays naturally hoppered leaf crystal habits with a similar shine and intricately sharp crystalline structure. Overall, this gold specimen is significant, featuring a deep, rich yellow coloration and serving as an outstanding example from its origin.
