Leaf Gold Crystal

This gold specimen displays a three-dimensional curved robust leafy gold crystal with intricate crystallography. The gold displays unusual textured surface on its interior with stepped elongated surfaces. The color is a rich saturated buttery yellow color and with good luster in some areas. Its reverse side displays smooth flat surfaces with tick but short crystals branching out with smaller secondary growth clusters on its sides. This gold specimen is a great example of native gold from a rare locality.
