Gold specimens from this mine are rarely encountered, making this an exceptional example from the locality. The specimen features thick, branching crystalline gold with numerous smaller microcrystals that have formed across the surface as secondary growth. These tiny crystals give the gold an intricate texture and remarkable luster, with the sparkle becoming even more pronounced as the specimen is rotated and viewed from different angles. The color is a remarkable buttery yellow and an outstanding sculptural specimen for the locality.
