Native Gold
Belshazzar Mine, Quartzburg Mining, Boise County, Idaho
This native gold specimen displays unusual character and highly textured surfaces. The gold specimen displays slight red orange iron oxides with some arsenopyrite. The reverse side displays similar crystalline surface with secondary clustered growth. Upon closer examination the thousands of smaller crystals are intricately formed with short wire branching crystals.
