At its base, the gold has developed into slightly modified crystal clusters, each revealing well defined geometric shapes and exceptional luster upon closer inspection. Within these clusters, several crystals appear to represent early stage growth that may have developed into elongated spinel twins mirroring the dramatic form of the specimen’s central feature. The centerpiece is a thick, substantial spinel twin crystal, marked by deep, pronounced striations along its faces. It rises to a distinct, sharply defined tip, creating a powerful focal point. Crystals of this size and habit are seldom seen from this locality, making this specimen particularly noteworthy.
