Leaf Gold Crystal

This sharp lustrous native gold displays complex striations of fibrous leafy crystals. Some areas display the gold crystal starts off as fibrous then end up into acicular needles on its ends. It’s a very uncommon formation for this type of native gold from this locality. The crystal in its entirety is a modified octahedron which exhibits striations of fibrous leafy crystals with acicular needles on its ends.
