This incredible and rare specimen of native platinum crystal displays a solid cube of native platinum from the Konder Massif, Far Eastern Region, Russia. The native platinum crystal exhibits a bright metallic luster and in some areas very sharp right angled crystals. The platinum crystal also exhibits areas white quartz with sharp crystallized faces on its matrix which is very uncommon The Konder Massif region is the only known reported area where platinum naturally develops into cubed crystals which makes specimens from this locality highly collectable and difficult to acquire.
