Native Silver of Flat Rectangular Crystals on Calcite Matrix

As quality silver from Morocco is becoming more difficult to obtain this beautiful example exhibits rectangular leafs of native silver growing throughout the calcite matrix. It’s very uncommon and rare to see silver displayed in such crystallized growth. There are also rarely seen sharp pointed crystals of native silver in some areas near the top of the specimen. We believe the scattered flattened rectangular native silver crystals are modified versions of the sharp pointy crystals that have morphed into flat rectangular silver crystals. It’s astonishing to see this specimen physically as the photos do no justice to its aesthetics.
