Native Silver on Calcite Matrix
Bouismas Mine, Agdz, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
Here is a beautiful crystallized native silver specimen with incredibly well crystals intricately formed on top of the host calcite mineral. The native silver appears to be 2 - 5 mm of elongated crystal spikes pointed in random directions throughout the specimen. The calcite is rich milky white with some shist country-rock attached in some areas. Overall this specimen has some of the best aesthetics a well-defined native silver specimen should have.
