This incredible platinum crystal displays intricate and complex crystal morphology. Only unique to one location on the planet the Kondor Massif produces cubic platinum crystals which makes this crystal extremely rare. The platinum crystal exhibits interlocking cubes clustered together forming a three dimensional crystal. There are a total of three large cubes clustered each in its unique axis. In some areas the platinum surface showcases layered pattern growth with a rare combination of native gold occurring on its surface. This is an exceptional platinum crystal from this locality where no new specimens are available to mineral collectors.
