This exceptional gold nugget specimen displays a rich concentration of buttery yellow native gold with a noticeable amount of white quartz matrix. The gold surface on the front side is very lustrous with mostly a smooth surface while other areas display the original crystalline surfaces this nugget once had. On the reverse side the quartz between the flattened gold surface with some textured surfaces throughout.
