Spinel Twin Gold Crystal 
El Dorado County, California
This rare gold crystal displays unique and unusual crystal morphology and a first for its locality. The gold crystal formed robust striations which are exhibited all around the specimen and splitting into two crystals. The crystallized gold is a solid specimen with great color and good luster. The complex crystal structure is three dimensional with beautiful aesthetics from both sides. The gold crystal was found from a small pocket and no new specimens are available from this locality.
