Spinel Twin Octahedral Gold Nugget

This incredible gold nugget crystal displays hoppered habits which are in a stepped crystal formations. The native gold specimen is a spinel twinned gold nugget with most of its original crystal structure being intact. On its tip the crystal has formed a large octahedral point with hoppered crystal habits on its sides. On its front, two large modified octahedral crystals are branching out from the main crystal. The overall specimen is chunky with lustrous crystal faces and a rich honey yellow color saturation.
