This robust spinel twinned gold crystal displays multiple octahedral crystals of native gold with sharp crystallized striations in between the spinel twinned growth. Most of the gold crystals are modified with the reverse side displays a wire formation with more highly visible growth striations typical for spinel twinned gold or wire gold crystals. This rare a unique crystal gold specimen is a highly collectable mineral and from a locality that today rarely produces spinel twin wire gold crystals like this example.
