Spinel Twinned Native Gold Crystals on Quartz

This impressive gold specimen exabits a rich saturation of bright saturated yellow crystals with a high sparkle effect from its lustrous crystal faces. Its robust gold crystals are very complex and overlapping in many growth patterns which including some being wires with pointy tips and others being geometric spinel crystals with lustrous faces. The crystallized gold from Mexico is very rare and its quartz matrix also displays quartz crystals with some crystals being transparent on its tips. The gold wires grew in pockets of the quartz which is why we have both wire gold and crystallized quartz crystals. The gold wires are displayed as clusters and visible on all sides of the quartz matrix. This native gold specimen is a prime example for its locality.
