This highly aesthetic gold specimen showcases vibrant, bright yellow crystals with a high sparkle effect from its lustrous crystal faces. The sturdy gold crystals exhibit intricate, overlapping growth patterns, including wire-like structures with sharp tips and geometric spinel crystals with shiny surfaces. The incredible aspect of this specimen are the spinel twin crystals are wrapped around the quartz crystals - like a vine - and holding everything together. Crystallized gold from Mexico is exceptionally rare, and this piece showcases a quartz matrix adorned with quartz crystals, some of which have transparent tips. The gold wires formed within pockets of the quartz, resulting in both wire gold and crystallized quartz crystals. The gold wires are clustered and visible from all sides of the quartz matrix. This native gold specimen is an outstanding example from its locality.
