Triangular Crystallized Gold

This fascinating gold specimen exhibits a unusual shape with clusters of intricate crystals clustered together in a complex habit. The gold developed into multiple crystallized characteristics with the front side developing short wires and dendritic leafy crystals. On its reverse side the crystals developed into thin micro crystals of clustered wires and crystalline masses of textured native gold. The native gold specimen almost seems like a perfect triangle with aesthetic crystal morphology. This specimen is a rare example of natural gold from a historical gold rush town which no longer produces gold specimens.
