Wire Gold Cluster with White Quartz

Belshazzar Mine, Quartzburg Mining District, Boise County, Idaho

This remarkable native gold specimen features a compact yet highly detailed cluster of thick crystals arranged in a naturally sculptural form. The structure is dominated by interwoven short wire gold growths that overlap and intertwine, creating strong three-dimensional depth and visual movement. Many of the wires show sharp crystal faces and clean terminations, while others branch outward from the main body, adding balance and character to the overall composition. The surface displays bright metallic luster, showcasing a rich buttery-yellow color that reflects the high purity of the gold. From the Belshazzar Mine in Idaho well known for producing rare and unusual crystallized gold. This specimen is an excellent example of the scarce and highly desirable wire crystal habit.
