Wire Gold Crystal
Irish Gulch, El Dorado Creek, Dawson City, Yukon, Canada
This wire gold specimen displays a long leaf like wire crystal with incredible striations and slightly hoppered crystal formations. Wire gold is the rarest gold formations with only a handful of localities in the world and this specimen is an exceptional one. The surface displays rugged and robust crystal formations at its bottom, and it begins to develop into a smooth ribbon like thin wire on top. The overall size is long and displayable on both sides with equal beauty. Its color is a saturated honey yellow color with good luster on both sides. This gold specimen is a prime example for its locality.
