Wire Gold Mesh with Quartz

This interesting specimen displays a mesh of thick native gold wires with complex intergrown structures. The specimen is slightly worn from the outer edges from being exposed to the natural elements but the interior gold wires still retain the original crystallized wire growth. The native gold also displays branched-out dendritic gold in some areas. The native gold with its complex growth provides a new perspective every time you example the specimen up close.
