Wire Gold on Quartz

This unique native gold on quartz specimen displays thick wire gold with branching spiel twin crystals. The wire crystal is curved and have intense striations on its sides and throughout the wire crystal. The gold is sitting on top of white quartz with a thin layer of white clay mineral on the quartz.
