Spinel Twinned Wire Gold

Wire gold is the most uncommon forms of natural gold which are found in a very few location in the world. This highly aesthetic and important example comes from a locality that almost scarcely produces these wire gold specimens. The gold crystal displays multiple branching out wires of gold with some being crystalline and chunky wires. The crystallized surface of the gold specimen is covered with sharp linear striations which showcases the complex formation of this spinel twinned wire gold crystal. The specimen displays great luster and a bright saturation of yellow with a small quartz sticking out from the edge on the front left side.
